Welcome to the website for Chop Food Equipment Inc. The information listed herein relates to the use of this website as well as to all inquiries and purchases, including but not limited to the website, emails, by phone and in person. By using the website, you agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions in this document without limitation or qualification. If you do not agree with these Terms and Conditions, please do not use our site.


We reserve the right to change and update these Terms and Conditions without notice. Please check back here periodically to ensure you are aware of the most current information.


UNIQUE ITEMS

Unique items are items that we cannot guarantee that they can be reproduced. When placing this item in your shopping cart, you have not committed to purchasing this item. It is only once you have confirmed the contents of your shopping cart and are transferred to the payment page that you have committed to purchasing this item. At this point we will reserve it for you as you complete your shipping and billing information. If a unique item is in two or more shopping carts, the item will be sold to the first person to confirm the contents of their shopping and successfully completes the payment process.


RETURNS & REFUNDS

Before returning the product, please contact us.

Returns will not be accepted unless approved in writing. Minimum return amount of $50.00 list. Returned goods must be received within 30 days of purchase. To obtain a return authorization and to make it official for traceability, all customers must fill out our return form online. All authorized returns must be shipped FREIGHT PREPAID. A restocking charge of 50% will apply to unused products in their original packaging. Returns of used products are subject to inspection and a restocking charge of 50% or more may apply. Special order, clearance, or non-standard items are not returnable.


Chop Food Equipment Inc. has no recourse for damaged products that were shipped by customers carrier. In the event of shortage or if damage is detected, in a third-party shipment, notify the delivering carrier at once to request an inspection and file a claim promptly. Any delay may cause you a loss. Shortage or damage in shipment does not excuse the buyer from timely and full payment of the invoice. We cannot reimburse claims for shortages or delays caused by the carrier responsible.


If shortages or damages are detected in a shipment delivered by a Chop Food Equipment Inc. carrier, please note it on the bill of lading before accepting the delivery and contact Chop Food Equipment Inc. immediately so that we may initiate a claim. In case of damage, do not refuse completion of delivery. Accept the order and file your claim with Chop Food Equipment Inc. Please keep all packaging for inspection purposes. Apparent packing errors must be reported to us within 3 business days of receipt.


CANCELLATION OF EQUIPMENT

Our work which remains to be furnished under order agreement may be cancelled by the buyer only with the express written consent of the Company. In the event of such cancellation, the Company shall be entitled to payment for the cost and expenses incurred by it in connection with the equipment or work so cancelled, plus an amount determined by applying the Company's usual rate of profit for similar items to such costs and expenses, or 25% of the balance of the contract price, whichever is greater. Special customized order refunds if any equipment was specifically ordered or fabricated to customer requirements and customer wishes a Refund it may be subject to a 50% restocking fee.


BANK ALERT

When we issue a refund or even if your order is declined the banks/credit card companies are NOT returning the money back to your account for 7-10 business days. Since we don't have your money and the banks have it, there is nothing we can do to have them release your money faster.


SHIPPING

All items are shipped via preferred carrier will be made available to customer or as per agreement by customer and Chop Food Equipment Inc. Items that are in stock will generally ship within 3-5 business days within Canada and 5-7 business days within the United States. Items that are made-to-order will be shipped as soon as they are ready.

When ordering multiple items, we will do our best to put all items in one package. Multiple packages will be shipped due to size/weight constraints, shipping locations and made-to-order time frames.


DELAYED DELIVERY

Chop Food Equipment Inc. will do their best to deliver all items within a reasonable set date as per the agreement. Although delayed deliveries are beyond our control due to weather, due to traffic conditions, cross-border delays etc. and at that point we cannot guarantee any delivery date and time.


DUTIES & TAXES

Sales taxes are extra, where applicable duties are the responsibility of the purchaser.


PAYMENT PROCESSING

Payment processing is handled by bank transfer, ACH, direct deposit or payment processor for example Moneris and is under their Terms and Conditions.


PAYMENT TERMS

Payment Terms are based on agreement and proposal. If equipment is not paid for in full, Chop Food Equipment Inc. has the right to repossess its assets without notice. Any money previously paid by the customer is non-refundable.
